Project Overview
The South Africa Global AIDS Monitoring Report presented national information on the country’s response to HIV and AIDS.
The publication brought together research findings, programme information, policy insights, statistical data and national trends for a wide range of stakeholders.
The Challenge
The report contained a large amount of technical and statistical information.
This information needed to remain accurate while being presented in a format that policymakers, programme teams, researchers and other stakeholders could navigate and understand.
The challenge was creating visual clarity without oversimplifying the research.
Our Approach
We developed a visual system that organised the report into clear sections and established a consistent hierarchy across the publication.
Charts, diagrams, infographics and page layouts were designed to help readers identify important findings and understand relationships within the data.
Consistency was maintained across typography, colours, tables, headings and data visualisations to create a coherent reading experience.
